My name is Renee Blain and my daughter Allie has an autoimmune disorder called ITP. Her platelets are producing but not surviving and there is a risk that she could suffer from bleeding - internally or bleeding out if injured. She is almost four years old. We were told that most cases are self limiting and will correct themselves within six months. We have reached the six month mark and have tried many medicines that are not working. We have to make a decision within the next couple of days as to what medicine to try next and all of our choices seem pretty scary. Would you please pray for peace and wisdom as we try to discern what is the best next step? In Him, Renee Blain

Renee, thank you for letting us share in your burden. I prayed for Allie as soon as your letter came in. I asked that God would take the burden of responsibility from your shoulders as you rest knowing that ultimately the outcomes lies in the Father's hands. I prayed for wisdom, and for peace in your decision making. And I prayed for health. I'd love to get updates on this little one if you want to let us know how she continues to do.
Lord of Heaven and Earth. Please give Renee and her family strength and peace, a peace that surpasses all human understanding. Lord, give wisdom to the doctors to find a medication that works for Allie. I am trusting in your mercy. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
renee, i understand how you and your daughter might be feeling right now. i was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder too that's causing my babies to die in my womb. but GOD said 'by HIS stripes we are healed' renee, let's continue to claim that promise because He who made that promise to us is faithful.
