Who we are

Our Mission…

The purpose of Christian Women Online Magazine, and its online community, is to unite women of faith, regardless of our differing ages, our roles as women, or the signs that mark our church doors. We believe that one of the best ways to do this is to encourage each other in faith, by our spoken and written words. It is our hope that as we unite women in Christ, the young will glean wisdom from the old, one will gain strength from another, and together we’ll shed light to the world.

“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” ~ John 17:20-21

Jacquie Wagner – Editor (jwagner@christianwomenonline.net)
Jacquie lives in the beautiful Pacific NW, in a small city near Seattle, WA with her husband, Dean, and their 3 grown and nearly grown children.  Rounding out the family are 2 bounding dogs, 6 tropical fish tanks, and a goldfish pond. Jacquie divides her time (not smoothly 😉 between being a wife, mother, secretary, and CE Coordinator at their wonderful, grace-filled church.

Serving at CWO as the editor is a joy as Jacquie sees CWO as a marvelous place for women to gather and help each other grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to come to faith in the Lord if they do not yet know Him!

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man comes to the Father except through Me.’” ~ John 14:6

Jennifer Koop – Forum Editor & Writer (jkoop@christianwomenonline.net)
Jen is married to Marty, with a daughter and two step-sons. They share a Hobby Farm out in the Mississippi Valley of Wisconsin. It is a fitting place to land since her entire life has been littered with stray animals and birds, tame and wild, that wander in or are brought by friends. She works as a nurse in a small hospital ICU and deeply enjoys the privilege of caring for those fighting to live or navigating their last moments in life. Her favorite memories seem to be centered on cooking and long conversations with friends and loved ones around the dinner table.

Jen is a middle aged chick who tries to remind herself daily of God’s amazing grace. After countless mistakes and heartache, primarily constructed out of her own poor choices; she is now free to rejoice in the faithfulness of a loving Father who has patiently waited for her. A Holy God who would sacrifice His only Son for her sins, and then stand outside the door of her heart knocking while she sought out other possibilities to fill, cover, or extinguish the hurt there. In the end, only His love, patience, faithfulness, grace and mercy could reach the depths and bring restoration and healing. Only He could wash away the guilt, and promise to use ALL things for the good of those who love Him according to His plan and purpose in Christ Jesus. Jen is a living example of this most underserved and blessed Truth, and wholly desires to see Him do the same in and through you. That you may know how long, how wide and how deep is the love of God for you. He truly is the lover of your soul and will end your search with a deep indwelling joy that cannot be shaken, when you too, simply open your heart to Him. He is ABLE!

    Hello there!
I’m a ‘news junky’, but I know a lot of news out there is just that….junk. I’ve been looking for a Christian magazine to read besides the Homeschool magazine I have my nose in most days. While doing my search for a Christian political magazine I came across a website that listed Christian, Conservative magazines. Finding your magazine couldn’t have came at a better time! God works in mysterious ways and this is one of them. Such a blessing to have found y’all! Thank you ladies for all your hard work. I’m looking forward to having my nose in your magazine now too.
    Be blessed!

Wow…as a woman of many words at any given time, all I can say after stumbling upon this CWO magazine is Wow, thank-you Jesus! Finding a place to read/write/learn with many sisters in Christ from all over the country is such a blessing….it’s like Christmas in July! The gift of a God with no boundaries is invaluable…the gift of a ministry tool such this has endless possibilities. In the words of a cute brunette with a plaid dress: “Toto, we’re not (just) in Kansas anymore!”
