Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

In honor of St. Patrick, a missionary ~

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people…” ~ Luke 2:10

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ~ John 3:16-17

And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. ~ 1 John 5:11-13

And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo,
I am
with you always, even to the end of the age.”
~ Matthew 28:18-20

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
~ Mark 16:15

Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.  You are witnesses of these things.” ~ Luke 24:45-48

… for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard?
And how will they hear without a preacher?
How will they preach unless they are sent?
Just as it is written,
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

~ Romans 10:13-15

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
~ 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. ~ Revelation 12:11

…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be
the glory both now and forever. Amen.
~ 2 Peter 3:18
