Happy Independence Day!!!

Liberty!

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty.
~ 2 Corinthians 3:17

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. ~ Galatians 5:1

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. ~ Acts 4:12

Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are my praise.
~ Jeremiah 17:14

For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
~ Romans 6:14

“Come now, and let us reason together,”
 Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They will be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They will be like wool.”
~ Isaiah 1:18:

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. ~ Romans 8:1

But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. ~ Ephesians 2:4-9

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
Because the Lord has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord

And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins
They will raise up the former devastations;
And they will repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
~ Isaiah 61:1-4

Peace I leave with you;
My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.
Do not let your heart be troubled,
nor let it be fearful.

~ John 14:27
