Prayer Request for Daughter's Classmate

My daughter is in a middle school magnet program for dance until the end of May. This will be her last year in the public school system. Every day after school a group of her friends (about 5 of them) and her walk together to the school bus stop together. Well today after school my child's teacher asked her and one of the other little girls to stay after class because she wanted to discuss an assignment with them. My daughter states that as soon as the door to the classroom closed they heard "Fight, Fight" coming from outside. She stated her, her friend and the teacher ran out of the classroom and looked over the balcony (they were upstairs) and saw a large crowd of kids downstairs. They ran downstairs to see, but by the time they got downstairs some of the teachers had separated the two kids who were fighting into separate classrooms. They then heard one of the teachers scream. It turns out that one of my daughter's friends who she walks to the bus with was stabbed in the neck and arm. My daughter states that by the time everyone realized it, her friend had lost a lot of blood. She is not sure what happened after that because the teachers shewed them into the buses to go home. I do not know the girl's parents to call the family and see how she is doing. I am praying they were able to get an ambulance to the school on time. This is a really nice girl who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. It is scary to know that if my daughter's teacher had not kept my daughter after school that could have very easily been my little girl or my child would have witnessed such a horrible act. I do not know what is happening to these children. What would posses a young child to take a knife to school and why?!! This little girl is only 13 yrs old. I can not begin to imagine what her family is going through tonight. Please keep them in your prayers.

Jen, this is terrible. I was in prayer right away for this little girl, after I emailed the prayer team. Wow. I prayed for a physical and emotional healing for her, this kind of thing can scar us for life if we don't have God healing our wounds. I've also prayed for the attackers, that God would work in their lives. Please send us an update if you hear anything.

God...I don't know why these kinds of things happen...but you are still in control and we just ask that you heal this young girl of her wounds...also Lord would you please work in the lives of her attackers that they would come into contact with Christians that would love on them and help them learn to deal with whatever is going on in their lives....I pray for the family Father....lift them up today...wrap your arms around them like only you can do...

I am so saddened to hear this Jen, I am surrounding your daughters friend with much prayer. I also pray for the attacker, she really needs healing from the Lord.

Father, thank you for protecting jen's daughter from all these. but her friend who was stabbed, Father, please take care of her. help her recover from this experience. Father, i just pray for your divine protection to be upon your children.

I wanted you know I am still praying. I can only imagine what the community is going through, espcially after the VA incident.

I am praying for all these children, and the teachers, and also you. We must find a way to change this destructive behavior.
