“But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-10

Do you ever feel like you are in a season when the winds and rains of trouble and difficulty are hitting you from all sides? Times where it seems that every time the winds die down, you find that it is not the end, but only the eye of the storm? Stormy seasons will come. But we have a treasure, a great and mighty treasure ~ the all-surpassing power of God. During difficult seasons, this power gives us the ability to say, “I am not crushed; I am not in despair; I am not abandoned or destroyed!”

Thank you my sweet Jesus! You are my treasure. May your life be revealed in me!

    Grateful even in storms,
    Nicole
