Psalms 89:1a “I will sing about the Lord’s faithful love forever” (HCSB)
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
there is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
as Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning
new mercies I see.
All I have needed
Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness,
Lord, unto me!
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
sun, moon and stars In their courses above,
join with all nature in manifold witness
to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
~ I greet the morning with this praise song in my heart, desiring a day spent in the presence of my heavenly Father. As this melody swells through my senses and lifts me to that special place of worship, the words are embedded deep in the core of me, “You, Father, are faithful; You love me with tenderness, mercy, and justice! My window frames the beauty of Nature; it shouts Your glory in its God-set cycles! You are all I need in the seasons of my life to come. The final verse, my theme song for today! ~
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
Humming along,
Rhea
