Son's Trouble with the Law
Please I need urgent prayer for my 18 year old son Josh. On 4th of July 2006 he was in a fight with an attorneys son. This was a city to city fight. This attorney has heard that my son is a thug and an attempted murderer which he truly is not. This man will not go with the prosecutors suggestions of him leaving for the armed services. He appealed our last court hearing on Monday Feb. 5th. My son just thought he was helping his friend who was getting beat up by a group of boys. The prosecutor sees the whole story and is trying his hardest in keeping my son out of jail. The prosecutor has ordered my husband, myself and my son meet with this other family on Feb. 28th. with the county attorney victim advocate so that this gentleman can see that my son is not jail material. My son made a mistake and has truly learned his lesson. He made a full confession the day after the fight and was truly sorry. He has not quit praying. He had to serve 8 days in maximum security and has been on home incarceration since July 21st. We have been through so many court hearings and my son was first charged with a felony but the grand jury changed it to a misdemeanor. This man has heard that my son is not fit to be out of jail by someone and this is why he is so adamant about him serving time. Please pray for us that this man will soften his heart and give my son forgiveness. I need him to see what a good kid my son is, and that he made a terrible mistake. He is claiming that his son suffered severe injuries in the fight but his son was at football practice the next day. His son was actually in 3 other fights earlier in the day. Our next court hearing is on March the 5th pray this man will have a heart and drop the charges this is so way out of control. In Jesus name please pray for us and with us to soften this mans heart and open his eyes that he is ruining our lives.
God Bless,
Candy
