Psalm 119:89-94a
God’s Word is life to me. These are not words I speak lightly or out of obedience as the proper words for a daughter of the King to speak. No, I speak them as one who has known hunger, and who has known need; as one who has fallen and one who has been lost not. In these things, out of the depths of my need I can say, “God’s Word is life.” It has brought light into my darkness, and strength into my weakness. It brings hope into my broken places, and feeds my hungry soul. Truly Lord, “I will never forget your precepts for by them you have given me life.”
The Word saves. The Word strengthens, and is everything to those of us whose hearts desire to be fully His.
Lord, thank you for your Word, and for your faithfulness. You are God, and I am yours.
His alone,
Nicole
