We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Do you ever feel like you are in a season when the winds and rains of trouble and difficulty are hitting you from all sides? Times where it seems that every time the winds die down, you find that it is not the end, but only the eye of the storm? Stormy seasons will come. But we have a treasure, a great and mighty treasure ~ the all-surpassing power of God. During difficult seasons, this power gives us the ability to say, “I am not crushed; I am not in despair; I am not abandoned or destroyed!”
Thank you my sweet Jesus! You are my treasure. May your life be revealed in me!
