People become suspicious, paranoid, fearful, everyone is to afraid to trust, which is why many are also to afraid and uncomfortable with trusting in Christ. Which is also why we as servants of His must show this example to non-beleivers as well as mature believers, of not judging them or belittling them in their walk. Whereever they are, we need to love them as Jesus would and be a friend to them first (in my opinion) and then build up the goal to transfering them over to Christ. Of course there are those who are ready and seek salvation through Him now, but for many more it takes time; time filled with love! It does indeed take the indwelling of the Lord's spirit to enable us to truly love with the love of God. It takes a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and not just 'having religion,' as the world is saying now. Blessings to all!!!
