    so unsure

I am about to finish up my associates degree and my boyfriend just started college. He signed to play with carson-newman foot ball and he is already into his classes. He loves foot ball so much and time with him is getting shorter and shorter and more cramped. If this continues on into the next four years, I don't want that in my life. I don't want something that disappears and comes back to me when the other fun is over. I have been through this before and I just don't want it again. But I also don't want to make a mistake and give something up that I shouldnt. I know this seems petty but I don't want to be put on the back burner for some sport. what should I do?

    Hi,
You know something? It sounds to me as if you already know what you want. Personally I would never encourage you to go against that.
You are not engaged or married, you're a young woman who is free to make a choice of this nature.
In my eyes you are not being put on the back burner- I think it's healthy and wise for young men to be part of teams and doing exercise- but if
right now you want more from a boyfriend, you're certainly entitled to go with your heart.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraides not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5.
Pray about it and ask God to guide you. It is understandable that you are feeling somewhat neglected. Certain times will come when life throws us curve balls and we aren't able to spend time with people like we want. But, in a positive perspective this will give you an opportunity to sit back and let God talk to you about your choices and decisions and hopefully you will find peace and understanding in whatever decisions you make. Keep pressing forward and know that God is with you in all that you do. Trust Him to reveal to you what you need in your life. He will definitely let you know. And when He does there will be no doubt in your mind. Only a peace that is undescribeable. Love in Christ, Kristine.
