    Children ministry coordinator

I am so blessed! I was recently appointed as the new children's ministry coordinator at my new church in Indianapolis. I get to coordinate all the weekend services and lesson plans. I would love to be able to put on huge interactive shows, but we just don't have the resources or talent for that yet. We are going to start small then build. I did a search and came across the www.gospellight.com website. The reason I'm here is to find out if that is a good or bad idea? Let me know, please! Thanks.

I'm the CE coordinator for our small church. :-D Love your enthusiasm - I feel the same way! I haven't used Gospel Light materials myself, but I haven't heard anything negative about them. I did attend a presentation on this material Orange and if it fits your budget I tho't it looked Very Impressive. :-) The best thing I can recommend is to determine what you and your ministry team want your program to be and find material that goes where you want to go in reaching children and teaching them about the Lord! Blessings on you and your ministry!

    great

I am the coordinator in my church too and have used Gospel Light. It is great to use if just starting to get ideas and help the new team of people. It has a whole lesson plan to use and build on as you like. I really recommend it if you are just starting out. You can adapt it as you want. May you be blessed as you seek the best way to encourage the little ones in your care.
