I woke up this morning. This simple fact means that I have another day to live my life for this amazing God, my saviour Jesus Christ. Today is another day that I will have a chance to worship Him. Another day to sing praises unto Him. Mercy is new this morning.

Our kitten, Titus loves jumping up on our aquarium and terrifying my daughter's turtle. In the wee hours of the morning, I hear the weight of his body as he grips the side of the tank and pulls himself up to take in a full view of his fishing ground. He knows I hate it and he knows he'll get a stern voice and a spray with the water bottle if he's caught in the act. Plus, the turtle has this look on his face as if he's wondering, "does anyone else see this?".

Hebrews 12:14 - 15: Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;
This is such an interesting portion of scripture. I can't believe how often I coax myself down from an angry action with the words "follow peace, follow peace" throughout my day, using my hands to signify the motion of a waterfall.
My thoughts for this week are centered around this hope - that the things that God has in store for me are already spoken in Heaven. I'm just waiting for them to be brought to fruition in the earth. Although I, in my impatience and lack of trust, can cause these things to be hindered - ultimately if God has ordained it, then though it tarry, I will wait for it, because it will surely come (Hab. 2:3).
Thank God that He does not give us what we want, when we want it. Yet, He uses situations
