Biography:

Shannon believes that good stewardship in all facets of life is a cornerstone to living well and, first and foremost, is pleasing to God. (Pr 6:6, 1 Ti 5:8, 2 Ti 2:15) The well-known school of Life illuminated by God’s word has provided her with ample training and insight on creative problem solving for living as well as how to grow in understanding from it. (2 Co 12:9) Shannon also earned a double BA in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from Central Washington University.

She lives in Renton, Washington with her husband, Jason, and their two high-spirited boys, Nate and Mark. Shannon’s book, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Stretching Your Dollar (ISBN 1592579280, © 2009 Alpha), is available online and in bookstores now. Her newest book, Harnessing Hope, is currently under contract with Blue Mountain Press.
