I am Lisa (Lively) Metzger, devoted helpmeet to Mark, keeper of our home, and 2nd generation homeschool mother to 8 children on earth and 7 in Heaven, resting at the feet of Jesus.

My EIGHT precious children on this earth so far are: Annalise (18- adopted from Kazakhstan at 10), Kaitlyn (10), Ethan (9), Trey and Jake (8 & 6 - adopted from MO 2007), Julia (4), Ellie (2) and Judah Michael, (1)!

I am a 2nd generation homeschool mom, meaning that I was a pioneer homeschooled child! I am enjoying carrying on our family's rich heritage of raising children for Jesus, through homeschooling! Heritage Christian Academy is our homeschool and we live in a suburb of Charlotte, NC.

We are a "Quiverfull" family (Psalm 127 & 128) who lets God plan our family, instead of us. We are working to conform to the image of Jesus. We meekly watch as the Child-giver fills our quiver with His most favored blessings ~ Children! We strive to please Jesus in all we do!
