Hiya, everyone! My name is Mandy and I'm new. Shocker, I know...

Let's see - about me:
I'm 37 years young! I'm married & a step-mom to two. I have 2 dogs and they are a mess! I love to read... listen to music... watch movies... college football... family... and friends! I love to meet new people and I hope to meet some of you!

I have been darting back & forth to God when I "needed" Him. I've always needed Him... I'm just one of those people who think they can manage life and only bother God when times got too hard to handle. Well, I've recently come back to Him... crawling on my knees almost... and I'm glad to be back! He was the one constant in my life and I traded Him for a lot of bumps in the road and a lot of "doing it my way". What a mess my life had become! Praise God that He loves me in spite of myself.

Anyhoo... I do truly hope to meet some of you! Take care and I'll bore you with more about me if you dare to walk that road with me. LOL!

Hi Mandy! I am new here too. I've never been a part of a forum in my life (although Im only 19), but I am looking forward to this because I feel like this will be a good opportunity to encourage other women and have them encourage me when I feel low. By the way, I know what you mean about feeling like we can only bother God when times get too hard. I've been in that boat for a while now. Actually, I keep going in and out of it. Right now I am realizing again that I need to go to God for absolutely everything, and not just when the times get hard. Anyways, welcome and nice to meet you

Thanks for stopping by ladies and saying hello! It's always great to meet new people and I definitely want to know more women who love the Lord and need Him just as much as I do. I'm so tired of trying to do this life on my own... and I am sure He gets a hearty chuckle at each and every attempt I make without Him! I just know He has a sense of humor. :-)

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy, love, and grace. Thank You for these wonderful ladies who have gathered in this forum to meet those who believe and desire to encourage other women in their walk with You. We aren't perfect, Lord, and I am thankful for that! Imagine a life without knowing You and Your love and the healing that only You can bring - unimaginable. Lord, I ask that you touch each and every woman who stops by my "intro" page. I pray you bring peace and comfort and that You will use me in any way I can possibly be used to help, encourage, love, or pray. You are most gracious and loving... help me to be that way to others too. In Jesus' Holy Name, Amen!
