Hi Ladies! I am so excited to come across this great CW's website! I would love to be a part of this community. It seems like you are all very supportive of each other's walk with God It is very motivating to me.

A little about me:
I live on Chicago's North side, right near the lake! I really enjoy living here for the beach and the lake shore biking. However, just recently I got into a bicycling accident and have been recovering from a bad cervical sprain. It is disappointing to be because for a long time, I have been battling health issues with my neck, back, shoulder and joints. I was diagnosed with Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Despite what all the doctors were saying I have, I consulted with our heavenly doctor and was well on my way to being completely healed! I know this is only a temporary setback, but I am starting to become more and more aware that we have a real enemy here on Earth... but I'm fightin'! I am ready to accept my healing and get on with my life and God's plans for me, which are HUGE, why else would the enemy have a target on my head? Which brings me to my passion for Christ and my NEED to serve Him with all my heart. I am currently taking online classes toward a Bachelors in Christian Studies. I am excited to see where the Lord leads me next! I am very blessed to have a Godly boyfriend who also is passionate about following and serving the Lord together. He has a beautiful angel of a daughter that I am striving to set a great example as a Godly woman

I'm glad you found this website.Thankfully from the sound of things you are above it all The accident and the bad news seem beneath you, God bless! But there is better news to focus on and thats being free from all things. I wish we could all remember that during the toughest times. I will pray for you Jen more prayer is always good. You are a great example for what a Christian woman should be like, I'm sure you are a great ro-model for any girl. That's one of the toughest things to pick up in life, how to rise above I respect that a lot. I'm still learning that lesson myself

Hello, Jennifer. I feel like you and I are in the same boat. I injured my back as a high school cheerleader and have lived with the pain and stress of that incident ever since. As if that wasn't enough, in the middle of my college years, I came down with a severe case of mono, from which I never fully recovered. The pain is gone, but my energy levels have never been the same. Then, when I was finally starting to feel a little better, I was diagnosed with bursitis in my left shoulder. Jumping from one ailment to another, I was confused about what God was doing in my life. Even now, there are days when I feel so discouraged and wonder if I will ever be healthy again this side of glory. But when I am still and listen to the Lord, I understand that there is a purpose for my pain. I am reminded that I am not being punished but I am being used for his glory, just like the blind man in the Bible. His tender words give me the strength to carry on. Trust in Him and know that He has a purpose for your pain as well. You may not understand it, but He knows best. Welcome!
