    Psalm 63, especially the way it starts out:
    You, God, are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
    I thirst for you,
    my whole being longs for you,
    in a dry and parched land
    where there is no water.

    I feel like that so often, although I too rarely acknowledge that thirst for God is my problem.

    It's been a long while since I last posted here...and this was the first thread title I really looked at on the home page. Awesome!

    There are so many verses dear to my heart! The verse I was 'given' the day I was confirmed is John 8:32 "Then you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free." When we have a relationship with our Savior, who is Truth, we really are free from sin, death and the devil.

    I am partial to Ephesians 6:10-20, "The Armor of God". My older daughter is currently in Confirmation class and for months, that was her memory work, a verse a week. I can recite it almost as well as she can, lol!

    Ephesians 5:21-33 saved my marriage 18 months ago (lo-o-o-ong testimony there! Whole separate post, Sisters!) .

    Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Since we know that God is always, always, always faithful and never breaks a promise, we can rely on this verse. There are times I cling to this promise from my Lord...and He has never failed to keep it.

    If you're reading my post here about these verses, please know that I've prayed for you. . .that these bits of God's Word have comforted, soothed or brought peace or joy to your heart. God bless all of you.

    I am not sure what passage I like the most. I think this is a holy book and we have to respect all the paragraph here. But since when I started reading it I never even think about it that what is the most favorite paragraph.
