    I'm new here

Hi ladies. I'm new here. I feel like discussing some things about the Bible. Anyone interested in joining me in conversation? Pick a topic or question for discussion

How about if we start with "What's one of your favorite Bible verses?" Mine is John 14:6, "Jesus answered, 'I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me." This verse was near and dear and challenging to me through my teen years and I've held on to its simple and beautiful truth through other places and seasons in my life that have been somewhat rocky or uneven.

Hi Jacquie, I guess I can say that one of the scriptures that I meditate on the most is Romans 1:16 where Paul says "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I meditate on this scripture when I need to remind myself to let my life be a witness to the Lord that I serve.

Im new here to. My favorite verse is Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This scripture just reminds me that no matter what is going on the Lord has a plan and it will work out for my best.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
