How wonderful is God’s very word
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4 :12
It can and should be used in our very day lives by studying the scriptures we found Scriptures for every need.

Anger

Psalms 37:8
8 Stop your anger! Turn from your rage! Do not envy others-- it only leads to harm.
The LORD is kind and merciful, slow to get angry, full of unfailing love.

Romans 12:14-21
14 If people persecute you because you are a Christian, don't curse them; pray that God will bless them.
15 When others are happy, be happy with them. If they are sad, share their sorrow.
16 Live in harmony with each other. Don't try to act important, but enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all!
17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable.
18 Do your part to live in peace with everyone, as much as possible.
19 Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it is written, "I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord.
20 Instead, do what the Scriptures say: "If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink, and they will be ashamed of what they have done to you."
21Don't let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good.

Roman 14:13
13 So don't condemn each other anymore. Decide instead to live in such a way that you will not put an obstacle in another Christian's path.

Psalms 3o:5
5 His anger lasts for a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may go on all night, but joy comes with the morning.



Matthew 18:15
15 "If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the fault. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.

James 1 :19- 20
19 My dear brothers and sisters, be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

Anxious

Jeremiah 2 :13
13 For my people have done two evil things: They have forsaken me--the fountain of living water. And they have dug for themselves cracked cisterns that can hold no water at all!

Jeremiah 3:12-22
12Therefore, go and say these words to Israel, `This is what the LORD says: O Israel, my faithless people, come home to me again, for I am merciful. I will not be angry with you forever.
13Only acknowledge your guilt. Admit that you rebelled against the LORD your God and committed adultery against him by worshiping idols under every green tree. Confess that you refused to follow me. I, the LORD, have spoken!' "
14 "Return home, you wayward children," says the LORD, "for I am your husband. I will bring you again to the land of Israel --one from here and two from there, from wherever you are scattered.
15 And I will give you leaders after my own heart, who will guide you with knowledge and understanding.

Hosea 14 : 1-4
1 Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for your sins have brought you down.
2 Bring your petitions, and return to the LORD. Say to him, "Forgive all our sins and graciously receive us, so that we may offer you the sacrifice of praise.
3 Assyria cannot save us, nor can our strength in battle. Never again will we call the idols we have made `our gods.' No, in you alone do the orphans find mercy."

Isaiah 44:20-22

Jeremiah 29:11-13
11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
12 In those days when you pray, I will listen.
13 If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me.

Are we any better than the people of Israel? We still wonder after other things … that get in our way and our walk with the Lord but we should take comfort in Gods word that he will take us back no-matter what …. For God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and his word will not pass away.

Bereavement

Psalms 23:4-5
4 Even when I walk through the dark valley of death, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You welcome me as a guest, anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
13 And now, brothers and sisters, I want you to know what will happen to the Christians who have died so you will not be full of sorrow like people who have no hope.
14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus comes, God will bring back with Jesus all the Christians who have died.

Psalms 116:15-16
15 The LORD's loved ones are precious to him; it grieves him when they die.
16 O LORD, I am your servant; yes, I am your servant, the son of your handmaid, and you have freed me from my bonds!

Matthew 5:4
4 God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8
6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord.
7 That is why we live by believing and not by seeing.
8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord.

Psalms 34:18
34 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit.

Revelation 21:3-4
3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
4 He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever."

John 11:25-26
25 Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again.
26 They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish. Do you believe this.
