Group Bible Study
This thread was started in response to Nicole's pointed question to my "Test the Spirits" blog article, as well as to jjbrink752's posting under the Introduction Forum topic (see Hi (again)...oops..).
This thread is intended to work like a group study. We will select one book of the Bible at a time and work our way through it together. I would ask that all who join here would make a commitment to read and pray through the current chapter or section that we are going through prior to posting comments or asking questions.
Where do we start? Anyone have any ideas? John or Romans are both good books for those not familiar with Scripture. I would like to hear all of your thoughts on this.
Love in Christ,

This sounds great Jeri. I am so thankful for my sisters-in-Christ that I study the Bible with who I can bounce ideas off of. I'm thinking Romans is a good book. Its the first book I studied after becoming a Christian, and although it has some pretty heavy theological topics in it, it generated a great discussion between my mentor and I, and I learned so much about the Christian life from it. I would love to go through the book again with the ladies here and see what questions and discussion arise from it. I just love God's Word. It always has something new and powerful to speak to us about.

I am new to the sight but I think this is an awesome idea! Romans or John are both good choices.
