    Scripture Memorization

    Okay Sisters,

We can't not talk about God's Word anymore!

God's Word is power to me. I know the importance of memorizing scripture, but struggle to get into a routine of doing it. What do you all do to commit scripture to memory. What are some of your favorite scriptures you've memorized and what are some scriptures that God uses powerfully in your lives?

I am new to Christian Women Online and am really enjoying it. One of my favorite memorized scriptures is Isaiah 30: 15. Years ago I was in a struggle with some overwhelming demands on my life when this passage spoke into my heart. I was so strengthened by this verse. Since that time I have called on this verse repeatedly to remind me to "rest and trust in God". Memorizing it has enabled me to call on Him over and over, where ever I find myself. For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength."

Isaiah 49:25 But this is what the LORD says: "Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.
Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Try putting verses you love on post-it notes and placing them on your bathroom mirror, fridge, computer or any other place you frequent! Brushing teeth is a great time to memorize - same with drying your hair

I am also new and really love this site. My favorite that I have memorized is Romans 12:1-2. Reminds my everyday that giving myself completely to God is only reasonable for me to do for Him after all He has done for me!

I am also new to this site and I am really loving it! I am in Victory School of Ministry and so we have a lot of memorization every week. Usually 5 passages which we test on every Friday by the verse!

Some of my favorite passages I memorized are Hebrews 12:1-2, Ecclesiastes 3 and Psalm 103:11-12.
