I also ask for prayer for his father who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. I ask that he not only be healed, but to give himself to Christ and know that his healing is from God. In this, the entire family will be saved, including John. God Bless You, In Christ... Anonymous

Lord God, we don't always understand your ways, but we do know that you have a plan that is far beyond anything we can even imagine at the time of our struggles. I pray for John's family right now as you work in the life of their son and his father. Help both of them to come to a realization of your love for them. Help them to feel your touch on their lives. Help them to be open to it, to seek it, to want it. Give their family members the right words to say and give them encouragement. Help them to look to you during this time. Amen
